
Soprano
Thaïs Raï-Westphal graduated with a Master's degree from the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris, in the vocal class of Chantal Mathias. Alongside her studies, she was part of the Lili and Nadia Boulanger class at the Académie Jaroussky and the 6th generation of Opéra Fuoco. She is currently a member of the Académie de l'Opéra Comique for the 2025–2026 season.
On stage, she has performed Suzanne in The Marriage of Figaro (directed by Mariame Clément, conducted by Paul Daniel), Crobyle in Massenet's Thaïs at the Opéra National du Capitole de Toulouse, Servilia in The Clemency of Titus at the Opéra de Massy, Aglante and Venus in Lully's Cadmus et Hermione at the Philharmonie de Paris, Ida in Die Fledermaus, Amour in Gluck's Orphée et Eurydice, Pamina in The Magic Flute, as well as Venus and Dorine in Lully's Thésée at the Theater an der Wien, Bozar in Brussels and the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées.
She has won several prizes at the competitions of Canari, Nîmes, Béziers, Arles, Marmande, Gordes and the Ottavio Ziino Competition. Upcoming engagements include Mozart's Great Mass in C minor at the Opéra de Tours, Campra's Requiem with Les Talens Lyriques, Handel's Israel in Egypt at the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, and the roles of Virtù, Damigella and Pallade in The Coronation of Poppea in Toulouse and Iole in Handel's Hercules at the Theater an der Wien.
