On Sunday, August 24th, we hosted a warm and informal gathering in front of Un Gramme Gallery in Ermoupoli to introduce our new initiative: the Friends of the Syros International Music Festival.
Local residents, artists, and music lovers from different countries who live on Syros joined us for a glass of wine, delicious food, and inspiring conversation. The goal? To bring together a community of supporters who believe in the future of this festival and want to help it grow.
We presented this year’s festival program, which brings together outstanding musicians from France, Greece, Korea, Japan, and Sweden—while continuing to keep tickets affordable and the spirit of the festival rooted in the Syros community.
Many attendees joined our new WhatsApp group, offered to promote the event, and supported us by purchasing weekly festival passes (€75)—which grant access to all concerts and post-concert gatherings.
