
William P. Kasuli holds a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art, a Master’s in Cultural Diversity and School Reform with a focus on indigenous peoples, and a second Master’s in School Administration.
He worked for over thirty years at the New York City Department of Education, serving as a teaching artist, art teacher, and program administrator. He retired as Director for the Arts in a district of New York City, where he oversaw a multi-million-dollar budget across one hundred schools. In this role, he was responsible for implementing arts programs and collaborating with leading cultural institutions such as the Museum of Modern Art, the Brooklyn Museum, the Alvin Ailey Dance Company, the Metropolitan Opera, Jazz at Lincoln Center, the New York Philharmonic, and the Early Stages Theatre Company.
Although raised and educated in New York City, William has lived in many different parts of the United States and has traveled extensively throughout Europe, South America, Southeast Asia, and North Africa. For the past four years, he has been residing on the island of Syros.
